When you walk through the doors of Van Demon Fitness you recognize that there’s something unique happening. It may not be clear to you what it is, but you soon realise that you want to be a part of it. That unyielding driving force that hits you is what our Centre is built on. Our training techniques differ from other centres because we don’t just use Strongman movements as a trendy training tool; we don’t claim to be “functional” because it’s the new way to train! Strongman movements are at the core of what we do. “Unconventional” is our way of training, it’s who we are not who we pretend to be. Why? because our methods work…simple!
This place, and the people around you, will teach you lessons that many refuse to accept or are too scared to discover and live by. This place can be for everyone, but it’s not. Some decide that our principles – our code – push them to be something they’re uncomfortable with. That’s, of course, their choice. But is the easy road really worth travelling? We expect more. We demand more of ourselves. We expect more from those that surround us. It is our willingness to accept the challenge of hard work; our decision to live each day to the highest standards; and our unrelenting effort to raise those standards that set us apart.
